Island Farm and Field Bike Tour

Gathering Ground is hosting its second annual Farm and Field bike tour June 26, 9:30 am – 2 pm. The tour will feature an approximately 10-mile route to seven farms on Washington Island: Island Harvest Farm, Gathering Ground, Riola Shorthorn, Hoot Blossom Farm, Sweet Mountain Farm, Island Cider and Birchwood. 

The farm owners or volunteers will be on hand at each stop to tell participants about the farm, and tours will be offered at some. Following the bike tour, participants will have lunch at Hotel Washington, where they can also participate in a cider tasting.The cost is $45 for adults and $20 for children.
