Gerhard Miller Drawing Exhibit Opens At MAM

Le Chateau du Koeningsburg – France, Gerhard CF Miller.

A perfect opportunity arose when the Miller Art Museum began planning its exhibit calendar for the 35th Anniversary year. The Miller family uncovered a large cache of unframed drawings Gerhard Miller created during his world travels. Along with several framed paintings, the exhibit will include more than 50 sketches with scenes from the Middle East, Scandinavia, Northern and Central Europe, Central and South America, the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Himalayas.

The anniversary exhibit, “Gerhard CF Miller: Master Draughtsman Travels With The Artist,” will open Saturday, June 5 and continue through August 24. A 35th Anniversary celebration, open to the public, will be Saturday, July 10 from 5 – 6:30 pm.

The MAM is located at 107 S 4th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. For more information call 920.746.0707 or email [email protected]. The gallery is open Mondays, 10 am – 8 pm, Tuesday through Saturday 10 am – 5 pm.
