Get On the Treatment Trail

A 200-mile charity run – with nine separate 5k run/walk events at different cities along the “trail” – will honor a pair of spirited, strong and fearless boys from Door County. Bo Johnson and Chris Lorona fought life-threatening illnesses while traveling hundreds of miles to receive care and treatment at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW).

Treatment Trail 2014, sponsored by Treatment Trail LLC, begins at CHW and finishes in Sister Bay. With this charity run, funds will be raised for the Go Bo Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Door County that assists families with children fighting life-threatening illnesses, and CHW for their continued research and care.

Between June 14 and 22, there will be stops in Wauwatosa, Port Washington, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Denmark, Green Bay, Algoma, Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay. The finish line is at Sister Bay Park, where there will be a BBQ and a band. People can join the last couple of miles by joining the run at the Sister Bay Sports Complex at 12 pm.
