Crossroads at Big Creek is partnering with UW-Oshkosh’s Environmental Research and Innovation Center to provide well-water testing. Visit Crossroads Mondays through Thursdays, May 29 through Aug. 22, 12-3 pm, to pick up a kit, ask questions and drop off samples. Use the Collins Learning Center’s lower-level door. Water-test prices are $20 for coliform bacteria, $25 for nitrate and arsenic, and $35 for lead. A homeowner’s package is $65.
The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will host its next meeting at the Crossroads Astronomy Center on June 4, 7 pm. The program will focus on the Apollo space mission. Visitors are welcome.
Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily (but will be closed June 5 for the 2019 Celebrate Water Summit).
