Get Well Water Tested through Crossroads

Crossroads at Big Creek will also offer a gentle, one-hour nature hike to Ida Bay – passing through several habitats – on May 26, 4 pm. Meet at the parking lot at the Canal Road/Buffalo Ridge Trail intersection.

Join the Door County Beekeepers Club for its monthly meeting in the Collins Learning Center’s lecture hall on May 28, 6:30 pm. The topics will be “Hive Splitting” and “Managing Your Bees Against Diseases.”

Door County residents can have their well water tested at Crossroads at Big Creek. The service will be available Monday through Thursday, 12-3 pm, May 29 through Aug. 22. Use the lower-level door of the Collins Learning Center to pick up kits, ask questions and drop off samples. Prices are $20 for coliform bacteria, $25 for nitrate and arsenic, $35 for lead and $65 for a homeowner’s package.

The Collins Learning Center is open 2-4 pm daily and during scheduled events. The trails and restrooms are free and open 24/7.
