Gibraltar Board Lowers Auditorium Rent

It’s not “curtains” for the Door Community Auditorium (DCA), but the lost revenue from canceled DCA shows has been just under half a million dollars.

With that said, Martha Luber Perine, DCA’s board president, asked the Gibraltar School Board to reduce the monthly fees it charges the DCA from $2,000 to $750. The board agreed to lower the rent at the auditorium on the school campus, which has historically brought in famous acts, and which has booked The Four Tops, Keb’ Mo’ and Tanya Tucker and Guest so far for 2021.
