Gibraltar Business Association for Youth Succeed at State Competition

Gibraltar students were recently recognized at the State DECA Career Development Conference in Lake Geneva. Ben Anderson and Carl Witteborg competed in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Promotion Plan event; they researched and developed a promotion plan for the Red Putter and placed 7th in Wisconsin.

Their judge commented, “This is a very doable proposal. These young men know what they’re talking about and have a very professional proposal.”

The Gibraltar Business Association for Youth (GBAY) was also recognized for their contributions to the community. Only three schools, out of the 148 chapters in Wisconsin, were recognized for their Acts of Kindness.
