Gibraltar Business Association Youth / DECA Raise Funds for the Cure for Chris

The Gibraltar Business Association Youth /DECA students recently raised $940 for the Cure for Chris fund. Chris Lorona, a Gibraltar freshman suffering from a Germinoma brain tumor, has already undergone two surgeries and chemotherapy, and he is undergoing radiation treatments in Milwaukee.

In November, items were donated at the Jacksonport Thanksgiving Day Parade raffle, and those items were raffled off in a second fundraiser for the Cure for Chris Fund.

GBAY / DECA’s next event is the Miracle Minute at the Jan. 31 Gibraltar/Sevastopol Basketball Game to benefit DOOR CANcer.
