Gibraltar DECA Students Receive State Award

Gibraltar High School’s DECA chapter – the association of marketing, management and entrepreneurship students – returned from the State Career-Development Conference on March 6 with a state award for its community-service work for the GO BO! Foundation, MDA and Jacksonport Thanksgiving Day Parade.Juniors Connor Duffy and Brandon Stillman earned awards in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team event. They placed in the top two in the Operations Role Play event and ninth overall in the state in the series. Adviser Mary Witteborg also received her 30-year adviser pin.
