Gibraltar Girl Scout Troops Celebrate Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, Gibraltar Girl Scout troops invited all Door County Girl Scout troops to Camp Cuesta for a morning of learning about the environment and celebrating the outdoors.

The Scouts participated in a low ropes course and team-building activities, learned about migratory birds and built bird feeders, and discovered how they can compost and plant trees in their neighborhoods. 

The Gibraltar Girl Scouts collaborated with the Climate Change Coalition of Door County, the Door County Land Trust and the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Council for this activity.
