Gibraltar Graduate Chosen as WEMTA Professional of the Year

Valerie Edwards, a graduate of Gibraltar High School and Library Media Specialist at Monona Grove High School in the Monona Grove School District, was selected as the Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association’s Professional of the Year. The WEMTA Professional of the Year Award recognizes a WEMTA member who has exhibited a high level of leadership and made significant contributions to exemplary media programs at the building, district, institutional, or department level. Edwards received her award at the WEMTA Awards Banquet held during this year’s annual conference in Milwaukee from April 5 – 7.
