Gibraltar Hosting Invasive Species Walk April 28

Join the Town of Gibraltar and the Door County Invasive Species Team (DCIST) Saturday, April 28, from 10 am to 1pm for a hands-on day of learning about invasive species found within the town. Drop by to peruse information, see plant samples (or bring your own for identification), and get hands-on training in the use of new smartphone apps to map invasive species. There will also be 30-minute guided tours of the property at 10:30 am and noon where visitors can learn to identify and control common invasive plants in the landscape. This event will be held rain or shine at the Ansley Residence, 4281 Cottage Row, Fish Creek. Open to all Door County residents who are interested in understanding invasive species.
