Gibraltar School Board Candidates Discuss Issues

The League of Women Voters of Door County (LWVDC) hosted an online Candidate Forum for the five people running for a seat on the Gibraltar School Board. A sixth candidate has withdrawn from the election.

Due to COVID-19, the forum was virtual and didn’t include an audience. Each candidate answered the same questions. The forum’s link is available at leagueofwomenvotersofdoorcounty.org and on the LWVDC’s Facebook page. 

The purpose of all LWV forums is to help voters select the most qualified, best-suited person for the office. They are not debates. The event consists of an opening statement, written questions that are screened for duplication and appropriateness, and a closing statement. Candidates do not see the questions ahead of time. All participating candidates have an equal opportunity to share their views regarding each question.
