Gibraltar Schools Welcome Community to Book Fair

Gibraltar Secondary School welcomes spring with the second annual Community Wide Book Fair and Secondary Reading Contest. The events promote reading among children, teenagers, and adults of all ages.

Community members are invited to visit the book fair April 29 – May 6, 8 am – 5 pm, and April 30, 10 am – 2 pm, in the Gibraltar Secondary School Library.

The Feelin’ Groovy about Reading book fair collection provides convenient access to hundreds of renowned fiction and non-fiction titles, and a wide array of art supplies.

This large custom Scholastic book fair features, for the second year in a row, an extensive selection that reaches across all grades and ages. The nationally recognized, yet affordably priced titles satisfy a broad range of browsing and reading preferences. All sales benefit the Gibraltar Secondary School library.

The Secondary Reading Contest compliments the community outreach event, celebrating reading in grades 7-12. Students can win individual and group prizes for reading and sharing the reviews of their favorite titles with peers and the library.
