Gibraltar Senior Creates Door County Talent Show to Support the Arts

A Door County community-wide talent show is scheduled for April 15 at 7 pm at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. The doors will open at 6 pm for a silent auction of Door County themed baskets and student artwork from Gibraltar. The event is the creation of Gibraltar High School student Hadley Takashi Reetz, who is raising funds for the school’s Arts Programs.

Takashi explains, “All Gibraltar Seniors are required to complete a project that will benefit the community in some way. Door County is full of talented people – some who have never had the opportunity to perform, so this gives them that chance.”

“Another very important part of my project is to raise funds for Gibraltar’s Arts Programs,” shared Takashi. “In order to raise the most money possible, I am gratefully accepting donations of gift certificates or items for a silent auction to be held before the show.” The website can also be used to pledge your donation under the “donate” or “contact” tab.
