Gibraltar Sixth Graders to Hold JDRF Walk on May 26

The sixth graders at Gibraltar School are sponsoring a walk for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) this month. JDRF is working to find a cure so people in the future don’t have to go through Type 1 Diabetes. The sixth grade class said they think what they’re doing is helpful because a few classmates have diabetes and they don’t want to see them, or anyone else, suffer. The walk is open to the public and will take place at the Gibraltar track on May 26. It is a free event, but raffle tickets and JDRF merchandise will be sold, with profits going to JDRF. If you are not able to attend, you may donate online at tinyurl.com/jhrcaht.
