Gibraltar Talks Focuses on “Schooner Barges & Shipping”

The August Gibraltar Talks program will focus on the waters of the Door Peninsula in “Schooner Barges & Shipping.” This program, presented by East Carolina University student Caitlin Zant, will be held Aug. 8 at 7 pm at the old Gibraltar Town Hall.

Zant and a group of divers have been investigating and exploring the Adriatic, a Great Lakes schooner barge that sunk in the Sturgeon Bay ship canal. This program is free, but donations are appreciated. For more information call 920.868.9335.
