Gibraltar to Host Chief Kahquados Run Aug. 24

The Gibraltar School District is hosting its first Chief Kahquados Open Run on Aug. 24 before the home cross-country invitational meet at the high school. The start time for the 2.1-mile race is set for 1:05 pm, following the national anthem. 

Participants must sign a waiver and receive a bib number, both of which will be available at the concession stand on race day no earlier than 12:15 pm. The event is free, but it’s limited to 100 runners. 

Results will be posted by bib number (not name) at the concession stand. The top three males and females will receive medals, and their names and times will be kept for record purposes. Get more details by emailing [email protected]
