The Gibraltar High School girls track & field team competed on April 7 at the Neenah Indoor Invite. On the 160-meter track, the girls four-lap relay, comprised of Chloe Massad, Hannah Helm, Brielle Fitzgerald and Aleah Bauldry, finished in second place with a time of 1:39.82. Bauldry also scored in the 55-meter dash and the 200-meter dash with finishes of sixth and third, respectively.
The Gibraltar boys team competed April 8 at Neenah. Gibraltar’s top finish was in the sprint medley relay. Erik Bosman, Logan Ferrie, Matt Scharrig and Caleb House finished in second place with a time of 4:24.95. Two relay teams finished in third place: the 4×800 relay comprised of Scharrig, Ian Moore, Evan Henry and House (9:54.76) and the four-lap (4×160) relay of Bosman, Ferrie, Thor Johnson and Evan Reinhardt (1:26.34). Also, Johnson finished in fifth in the high jump with a leap of 5’4″ and Ian Chomeau placed fifth in the pole vault with a jump of 9′.
