Ginny Rebmann Exhibits at Base Camp in Sister Bay

“Autumn in the Park” by Ginny Rebmann

September 16, Base Camp Coffee Bar in Sister Bay will host an artist reception for Ginny Rebmann from 3 – 5 pm. Rebmann will sign her giclees prints at the reception. Refreshments and pastries will be served.

The beautiful surroundings in Door County are inspiration for some of her fall paintings, which will be shown at Base Camp Coffee through September and October. The selected works include summer and autumn florals, landscapes and waterscapes, and many Door County autumn scenes. Rebmann paints primarily in pastel, but has also worked in watercolor.

Drawing and painting have been lifelong interests for Rebmann. At an early age she received a scholarship at the Art Institute of Chicago and received several awards. She has studied art in California and Arizona, as well as here in Door County.

She and her husband, Bob have lived in Ephraim in the summer for almost 20 years. Her studio is in her 90-year-old home, named appropriately Park Hill. It is nestled into the hill below the seventh hole of Peninsula Park Golf course.

Her work can also be seen at her home gallery, located at 9767 Highway 42 Ephraim. Call 920.854.9636 for gallery hours.
