G&J Glassworks Offers Glass Classes

G&J Glassworks in Sturgeon Bay, Door County’s newest stained glass studio and gallery, is now offering beginner stained glass and introductory lampworking classes in their studio at 59 S Madison Avenue.

“Anyone can learn and enjoy glass work as a hobby,” said Jim DuFrane, owner and instructor at G&J Glassworks. “It can be a relaxing and rewarding way to spend your free time and use your creative side.”

The classes are intended for those who have little to no experience working with stained glass. All tools and supplies are included in the tuition and each participant will leave with their own piece of glasswork.

Classes will run in six-week sessions and will be held Thursdays from 6 – 9 pm or Saturdays from 3:30 – 6:30 pm. Sessions, scheduled to begin at the end of May, are limited to six students.
