Glas Features Nyberg’s Paintings

Glas, the green coffeehouse, is featuring artwork by graphic designer and illustrator Tim Nyberg through May 14. A veteran commercial artist, Nyberg mixes acrylics with humor and music to create whimsical paintings that enhance the earth-friendly atmosphere at Glas.

For 30 years, Nyberg worked with some of the top advertising agencies and numerous Fortune 500 companies. Nyberg, who is well-known for his “Duct Tape Book” series, relocated to Door County in 2005 and owns and operates Gallery 42 in Juddville. A portion of his original art sales benefits Habitat for Humanity.

“Glas is a friendly, spacious place with plenty of room to sit and chat, listen to their occasional evening music offers, eat a light lunch and enjoy some of the best barista-crafted coffee north of Milwaukee,” said Nyberg. “I’m delighted to be chosen to hang my artwork at the coffeehouse.”
