Glas to Host “Sunday Afternoon Delight” Music Events

Glas, the green coffeehouse, is debuting a new musical event called “Sunday Afternoon Delight.” Local musical talents will be showcased from 12 – 2 pm January through April on the third Sunday of the month.

“‘Sunday Afternoon Delights’ is exactly what the name implies – an afternoon treat of music from great area musicians,” said Meghan Riordan, manager of Glas. “With the great line-up we have scheduled, it will be a nice time to relax with family and friends and enjoy the music before we are once again in the midst of hectic summer months.”

The Hollands!

The first show on January 17 will feature The Hollands!, a local favorite. The Hollands! craft handmade music with an “outsider” folk/rock blend. Weaving delicate lyrics wrapped in brawny rhythms, their message is both visionary and authentic. For a preview of the sounds of The Hollands! visit http://www.thehollands.org.

February 21, Galynne and MOD will perform. Galynne is a professional singer/songwriter, public speaker and transformational coach and one of the few visionaries to successfully combine all three professions into one. Joining Galynne is husband and talented drummer, Mark Riggenbach, known as MOD (Mark on Drums). For more information on Galynne and MOD visit http://www.galynne.com.
