Glass Exhibit at Plum Bottom Gallery

Plum Bottom Gallery invites the community to Art Show 7: Glass on July 28, 1-4 pm, featuring work from glass artists Sarka Evans, Laurel Grey, Josephine Geiger, Rose Kleman and Kellie Hanson. Enjoy a glass of von Stiehl wine and meet mosaic artist Sarka Evans.

Evans’ latest collection of mosaics feature whimsical scenes from her imagination. Whether it’s a girl swinging from the star or the view looking up at a towering tree, her pieces bring joy and spark the imagination.

Grey’s glass leaves are an amazing addition to any garden or indoor space. Made of tempered glass, each leaf is handcrafted and incorporated into stunning strands or unique tree sculptures.

Geiger’s leaded glass panels bring clouds, skies, trees and water to life with brilliant and dynamic colors. Her contemporary, geometric compositions are influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright and the beauty that surrounds her.

Kleman’s stunning decorative fused glass works have moved outside. In addition to her indoor glass pieces, Kleman expanded her collection to include garden art.
Hanson, a self-taught mosaic artist, describes working her mosaics to be a delightful glass puzzle. Every piece of glass is placed one by one, creating beautiful scenes of the lake, flowers, rainbows and dragonflies. Her popular, whimsical birds of Door County ornaments are a cheerful reminder of Door County’s wide range of feathered friends.

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery, located at 4999 Plum Bottom Rd in Egg Harbor, is open 10 am – 5 pm daily.
