“Gloriously Gershwin” Fundraiser at Birch Creek

“Gloriously Gershwin,” the Birch Creek Associates annual fall fundraising event featuring Cynthia Stiehl, mezzo-soprano, and Judith Jackson, piano, is set for Oct. 21 in Juniper Hall at Birch Creek.

Cynthia Stiehl commented on the upcoming “Gloriously Gershwin” event, “I truly look forward to this annual concert. This year, there will be a focus on places. I will be singing about Paris, London, the Back Bay and, there will be a surprise!” Stiehl also said the songs would be about falling in love and being in love.

Stiehl said she is happy to be invited back to Birch Creek each year for this annual event and commented, “I absolutely love singing in Juniper Hall. I also love working with Judith Jackson. I feel we are truly great collaborators and it is a partnership that I really enjoy.”

“Gloriously Gershwin” is open to the public with doors opening at 5:30 pm. Enjoy canapés and beverages; a cash bar will be available. Dinner will be served at 6 pm and the concert begins at 7 pm. Desserts follow the concert.
