Go Behind the Scenes of ‘National Geographic’

Who doesn’t love National Geographic? Indulge your passion when the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay presents two free discussions featuring Dustin Renwick, story content editor for National Geographic Partners; and Erika Skogg, explorer with National Geographic, on Sept. 9, 10:30 am and 6 pm.

During the first program, Renwick will discuss his journey into the National Geographic archives to discover a series of never-before-published 1933 photographs by journalist Maynard Owen Williams that focus on Door County’s agritourism.

During the second program, Renwick will give participants a behind-the-scenes look at his role as a National Geographic storyteller and discuss how visual storytelling has evolved. Erika Skogg will join Renwick to talk about her career and journey to becoming a National Geographic explorer.

Both presentations will offer time for questions, and in addition to in-person programming, both will be available via Facebook Live on the Miller Art Museum page. Learn more at millerartmuseum.org.
