Go On a Moon Walk at Crossroads

On Sept. 20, learners of all ages are invited to walk in the moonlight to the Council Ring fire to roast marshmallows, pop popcorn and listen to readings from Fran Hammerstrom’s book, Walk When the Moon Is Full at The Crossroads at Big Creek. Participants should gather at the Collins Learning Center at 7 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

On Sept. 25 at 6:30 pm, Dr. Paul Connett will present the lecture, “Zero Waste: Win, Win, Win!” Connett is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Dartmouth College. He will discuss his research on waste management. This program is free and open to the public.
