Goal in Sight for Nicolet Beach Playground

Launched in November 2021, the fundraising appeal for a new, all-inclusive playground at Nicolet Beach in Peninsula State Park has reached a new audience: 73% of the donors are first-time contributors to the Friends of Peninsula State Park, and their gifts account for about 53% of the funds raised.

“While we have raised about 90% of our goal, we need to close the last 10% to ensure that a summer 2022 installation can successfully occur,” said Judy Ortiz, Friends of Peninsula State Park secretary and playground project manager.
