Golfers Raise $110,000 for Boys & Girls Club

Horseshoe Bay Golf Club welcomed 120 golfers to its course June 6 in support of the 8th Annual Boys and Girls Club of Door County Celebrity Golf Outing. A host of notable figures from Wisconsin, including several past and present members of the Green Bay Packers organization, spent a day on the greens while 50 others took advantage of the outing’s Grand Trolley Tour. The event raised more than $110,000 for the club, whose mission is “to inspire all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, and responsible citizens.” Placing first at the outing was team CHT (Bob Fellner, Matt Ash, Pat Ash, Jason Fuller), second place went to Jim Olson Motors (Jim Olson, Jim Olson Jr., Mark Murphy, Jason Summers) and Paper Transport took third (Lennie Shefchik, Fred Bridenhagen, Paul Hendricks, John Ross).
