Good Start for Gibraltar’s Track and Field Team

The Gibraltar High School track and field team began their season competing on March 16 & 17.

On March 16, the boys competed indoors at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Gibraltar’s top finisher was Caleb House in the 3200m run, who finished sixth overall and third in Division 3 with a time of 10:31.9. On March 16, the girls competed indoors at Sheboygan North. Gibraltar’s top finishers were Abbi Sitte in the 55m dash with a second place finish with a time of 7.73, and the “six lap relay” (4x240m) comprised of Bria Caldecott, Kayla Scharrig, Abbi Sitte, and Hannah Helm, which placed fifth with a time of 2:30.66.
