Stacey and David Vecellio, the owners and operators of the Grain Loft – Algoma’s newest urban rustic wedding and event venue – will host a free performance by musician Genevieve Heyward on July 16, 5-8 pm. At 4 pm, the Grain Loft will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce.
Guests may wander the premises and explore the newly renovated areas, including the bridal quarters, man cave, beer cottage, outdoor ceremony space and gardens. The Caribbean Cruiser food truck will provide food.
Heyward is a Midwestern Americana artist with a vocal range as dynamic as her personality. After releasing her debut album in 2017 and touring the country solo, she’s recently joined forces with Wisconsin-based Norwegian drummer and producer Marcus Trana, multi-instrumentalist Nick Hoover (DeathFolk, Toivo) and a handful of musicians located in the U.S. and Norway.
