Grant Will Support Altrusa’s Back-To-School Fair

The Altrusa Club of Door County has received a Green Bay Packers Foundation grant to be used to buy athletic shoes and socks for students at the Back-to-School Fair, an annual, Altrusa-sponsored event. This year, 709 students throughout Door County received assistance.

“We would like to thank the Packer Foundation for their generosity and support,” said Pat Ploor, vice president of the club.

Altrusa was among 243 organizations statewide recognized during a recent luncheon. The Packers Foundation awarded more than $1 million to local organizations working in the areas of education, arts, culture and sports.
