Grape Stomp, Food Vendors Highlight Parallel 44 Harvest Fest

Come celebrate the upcoming grape harvest at Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery during their annual Harvest Fest Sept. 9 from noon – 5 pm. Recently awarded Winery of the Year and Top 40 Wine in the World, Parallel 44 is celebrating its grape-filled vineyard just waiting to be harvested with an event that fittingly showcases the wines made from the grapes grown in the vineyard and other vineyards across the state.

Wine sampling will be available for $6 and includes a commemorative wine glass. Besides wine sampling there will be vineyard tours given by the winemaker and live music by Slide. Several local food vendors including Pay It Forward – Taste of Ethiopia, Smoked to the Bone, and Monzu Bakery will be at the event, numerous arts & craft vendors will also display and sell their crafts.

This event also includes a traditional grape stomp starting at 3 pm. Come early and enter your name into a drawing for a chance to stomp. Following the traditional grape stomp, the winery’s annual Kids Stomp will take place. Children ages 9 to 14 may enter their name for the chance to stomp. There will also be kids games and wagon rides during the event.
