Grassroots Productions Sponsors Door County Premier of Food Matters

IsaGroup, a local affiliate of Grassroots Productions will sponsor the Door County premier screening of the documentary film Food Matters.

The film will be shown at the Sister Bay Village Hall (next to the post office) on September 23, and at the Gibraltar Fire Department in Fish Creek on September 25. The screenings are free to the public and will begin at 6 pm (doors open at 5:45 pm) on both dates.

IsaGroup is an association of small business owners working together to educate the public about the important role nutrition plays in the overall health of the body.

A review of the film by Alternative Medicine stated, “At a time when our struggling healthcare and wellness system is under review and global healthcare reform is urgent, Food Matters presents astonishing new alternatives to pharmaceutical intervention.”

“We need to get this message out there,” says Laurentine ten Bosch, producer/director. “It will change people’s lives.”

“We’re not suggesting that pharmaceutical drugs do not have their place,” says John Colquhoun, producer/director. “We’re saying that our overburdened health care practitioners perhaps do not have the time to educate people about alternative treatments and healthy living.”

Seating is limited for both screenings. Please call for reservations: 920.839.5400 or 920.421.1773.
