Stage Door Theatre Company opened Greater Tuna on July 24 at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP).
Greater Tuna depicts one day in the life of Texas’ third smallest town, Tuna, Texas – where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. Dan Klarer and Ryan Schaback play 20 of the town’s citizens, men, women, and children ranging in age from 12 to 80 years old.
TAP is pleased to partner with local community and the CAP (Community Action Program) food pantry during the run of Greater Tuna. TAP will collect as many cans of tuna fish in an appeal to theater patrons and the general public.
As an additional incentive, an anonymous donor has pledged $500 to the food pantry and $500 to our theater if we meet the goal of 500 cans of tuna fish.
Tickets are $22 general admission, $10 students, and $5 children. Tickets can be purchased at ThirdAvenuePlayhouse.com or by calling 920.743.1760. Third Avenue Playhouse is located at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
