Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra

The Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra, conducted by Mike Ross, will perform at the Weidner Center on Monday, March 10 at 10 am for area elementary students. “It is an essential part of our mission to reach out to students in the area who may not otherwise experience live orchestral music, and this concert is specifically designed to intrigue and delight the minds of elementary students,” said Audrey Nowak, Youth Orchestras Coordinator.

In addition to hearing the winner of the GBSO student concerto competition, those attending the concert will also have the opportunity to hear the exciting overture to Giuseppe Verdi’s Opera, La Forza Del Destino; the magical and mythical Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg, and the stunning 1812 Overture of Tchaikovsky.

Teachers who register will receive an educational packet designed to enhance the concert experience. Ticket price is just $3.
