Green’s N’ Grains Movie Screening and Lecture

On Feb. 19 at 1 pm, Dr. Nicole James will provide a series of tips on “Beating the Winter Blues” at Green’s N’ Grains in Egg Harbor. She plans to cover how to effectively use light therapy and why it works, benefits of vitamin D on your mood, dietary strategies to support mood and how to balance your neurotransmitters. Green’s N’ Grains will also host a screening of Ingredients, a feature-length documentary on the local food movement on Feb. 19 at 7 pm. The Cafe at Greens N Grains Natural Food Store offers a natural and organic dinner special each evening before the Film Society screening. Enjoy a soup specialty, salad, a fresh baked roll and a cup of tea for $7.50, available from 6 pm on. The Film Society screenings take place at 7 pm and there is no charge to attend but seating is limited to 28 people. Dinner and film reservations are requested. Greens N Grains Natural Food Store is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, located in downtown Egg Harbor at 7821 Hwy. 42. The Café is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the quiet season, from 10 am – 4 pm. The GNG Website is Greens-N-Grains.com.
