Greens N Grains Offers Local Pasture-Raised and Free-Range Turkey

As Thanksgiving approaches and plans for the big holiday meal are coming together, Greens N Grains in Egg Harbor is taking advance orders for pasture-raised turkeys from Sunset Farms in Brussels (17-22 pounds at $5.25 per pound) and for free-range turkeys from Mary’s Free-Range Turkeys, based in central California (8-25 pounds, $3.49 per pound). 

Mary’s Free-Range Turkeys are raised on a vegetarian diet with non-GMO grains; are never given antibiotics, preservatives or hormones; and roam in areas four times the size of those provided by the average commercial turkey ranches. A high-protein diet provides the optimal nutrients for the turkeys.

Greens N Grains has shifted its grocery store hours to 9 am – 5 pm daily, and the cafe is now open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9 am – 4 pm. The store offers curbside pickup but recommends calling after you submit an order online to be sure the staff has received it. Call 920-868-9999 to place orders in advance.
