The community is invited to Greens N Grains on April 4 for a free screening of A Chemical Reaction: The Story of a True Green Revolution. During this screening, the audience will learn how to support environmental and public health by caring for lawns and gardens in a sustainable way. A Chemical Reaction is an award-winning documentary about the town of Hudson, Quebec, the first town in North America to ban synthetic lawn and garden weed and insect killers.
The screening begins at 7 pm, and an optional dinner will be served at 6 pm for $7.50.
Space is limited. To reserve seating, call 920.868.9999.
Other opportunities to learn about tending sustainable lawns include upcoming presentations by Paul Tukey. Tukey, Safe Lawns Foundation founder, will present on April 26, 7 pm, at Crossroads at Big Creek, and April 27 at the Sustainability Fair in Sturgeon Bay.
