Legendary songwriter Greg Brown will kick off the Door Community Auditorium’s (DCA) 2019 Main Stage season when he takes the stage June 21. Opening the show and accompanying Brown during his set will be songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Bo Ramsey. Brown’s performance will start at 8 pm.

Brown was born in the Hacklebarney section of Iowa, where music is a way of life. The grandson of a banjo picker and the son of a Holy Roller preacher, he has spent a lifetime making music. Known for his humor, subterranean voice and unpretentious musical vision, Brown has recorded more than a dozen albums, and his songs have been performed by the likes of Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
