Griffon Quartet Students to Perform May 20

Seventeen Griffon String Quartet students – ages 7-30, and hailing from Green Bay and Door County – will perform in a family-friendly recital May 20, 2 pm, at Hope United Church of Christ, 141 S. 12th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. Pianist Sara Bong will accompany students.

Approximately 36 students are currently enrolled in the strings-lessons program and study under the supervision of violinist Roy Meyer. 

Members of the Griffon String Quartet, founded in 2018, work with children in northeastern Wisconsin through the quartet’s Einstein Series, an interactive program for school-age children.  Find out more at midsummersmusic.com.
