Griffon String Quartet Begins Second Season

The acclaimed Griffon String Quartet will open its second full season as Midsummer’s Music’s resident ensemble with a free performance at Green Bay’s igNight Market on Sept. 21, 7:30 pm, performing previews of pieces it will perform during the upcoming season, which runs through May 2020.

The Griffon String Quartet was formed in the fall of 2018 as a collaboration among Midsummer’s Music (midsummersmusic.com), the Fine Arts Institute at Green Bay’s East High and St. Norbert College in De Pere. Members include violinists Roy Meyer and Vinicius Sant’Ana, violist Blakeley Menghini and cellist Ryan Louie. All members have advanced degrees and significant professional experience.
