Griffon String Quartet Performs at UU Fellowship

Midsummer’s Music’s Griffon String Quartet will perform on March 15, 7 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ephraim. The quartet is composed of cellist Ryan Louie, Blakeley Menghini playing viola, and violinists Roy Meyer and Vinicius Sant’ Ana.

The program includes Beethoven’s String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 18, No. 6; Joan Tower’s String Quartet No. 5, “White Water;” and Debussy’s String Quartet in G Minor, Op. 10. Attendees may meet the musicians at a reception after the concert. Tickets are $29 for adults, $10 for students and free for children 12 and younger.

The Griffon String Quartet will also play a concert with a different repertoire on May 25, 7 pm, at the Kress Pavilion. Combination tickets for both the March 15 and May 25 concerts are $50 for adults and $18 for students.
