Ground Broken at Liberty Grove Military Honor Circle

Ground was broken on Sept. 7 for the Liberty Grove Military Honor Circle in front of the Liberty Grove Historical Society (LGHS) in Ellison Bay. This is the first monument in Liberty Grove dedicated to individual servicemen and women hailing from or related to Liberty Grove residents, visitors and friends of every era. It will be a pentagonal circle of pavers with the names, branches, ranks and dates of service of honorees. To date, 131 engraved pavers have been ordered. Proceeds from the sale of the pavers will be used to install and maintain the Honor Circle, as well as a Heritage Walkway containing pavers donated by area sponsors. Those interested in purchasing pavers fully engraved and installed at $125 per 4”x8” paver and $250 per 8”x8” paver should call LGHS Secretary Faith Murray at 920.421.1477.
