Guerrilla Gardening

1.

“Nothing is more useful to man than those arts which have no utility.” – Ovid (1st Century BCE)

What a cure for the winter blues! Wisconsin Public Television just hosted the annual February Garden Expo at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Thousands of people came from all over the state to wander the “winter” gardens. Over 200 display booths filled the exhibition hall with ideas. In addition, even more ideas could have been stolen from the list of over 100 demonstrations, workshops, and seminars. In fact, your very own Guerilla Gardeners presented a season extension seminar and photo-essay to a “standing-room-only” lecture hall. (Pretty heady stuff! Even if we do say so ourselves!)
