Guided Hikes at The Ridges

Join the Ridges Sanctuary naturalist on Friday at 1pm, and Saturday at 10 am and 1 pm, for guided snowshoe hikes. Enjoy a leisurely hike on level terrain. Participants may hike in boots or, if there’s sufficient snow cover, snowshoes. The hike ends at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center with a cup of hot chocolate or locally roasted coffee. Some snowshoes are available for hike participants. Call ahead to reserve. The hikes are $5 per person for members, $8 per person for the public, and free for kids. It is an additional $5 to rent snowshoes. Meet at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center.

The Ridges Story Hour series starts Jan. 12 at 11 am. Children can enjoy literature that highlights compassion while incorporating movement and mindfulness. Guided yoga poses will follow the stories.
