GuruGanesha Band on the Main Stage at TAP

Music on the Main Stage at Third Avenue Playhouse presents the GuruGanesha Band with Hans Christian on June 19 at 7 pm.

The GuruGanesha Band’s style of world-groovy mantra rock has been the talk of the yoga/consciousness community ever since the group’s inaugural tour in 2012 and their 2013 debut album, A Thousand Suns. The band recently finished a 28-city North America Tour (co-headlining with global touring artists Deva Premal & Miten) and is celebrating their brand new CD, Live In Concert.

This eclectic six-piece band is fronted by mantra music patriarch/guitarist/singer/songwriter GuruGanesha and gifted singer Paloma Devi, and features multi-instrumentalist Hans Christian, a local resident who also produced the CD. A rhythm section rounds off the colorful sound of this unique group, which ranges from deeply meditative to bhakti rock and roll. For more information visit guruganesha.com.
