Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Make A Difference Day

Door County Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Volunteer Wisconsin, supports Make A Difference Day, celebrated Oct. 20 – Nov. 10. Habitat for Humanity will sponsor volunteer events on Oct. 30 and Nov. 1 & 6, 9 am – 3 pm. Volunteers are needed to provide a new roof for A Brush With Kindness homes.

National Make a Difference Day is celebrated statewide by asking, “How do you Make a Difference Wisconsin?” On Oct. 27, tweet and update your Facebook status by finishing the sentence, “I make a difference by…” or using the hashtag #MakeaDifferenceWI on Twitter.

Volunteers are required to sign up at the Habitat office beforehand.
