Habitat for Humanity Raises $2,000 Running For a Cause

Door County Habitat for Humanity is grateful to Tim Kowols, Kay Smith, Mary Van Dyke, and David Van Dyke for raising money while participating in the Nicolet Bay 5K and Door County Half Marathon.

All four participated in the Run for a Cause program, raising money and awareness prior to the race, and sporting shirts with the Habitat for Humanity logo during the race. Together they raised more than $2,000 for Door County Habitat for Humanity. Funds support the mission of decent and affordable housing in Door County. By joining a Run for a Cause team, participants get to support a local nonprofit, and get free entry into the Nicolet Bay 5K/Door County Half Marathon when they raise $250 per person.
