Hagen Family Returns to TAP

The Hagen family brings their legendary tradition of music back to Sturgeon Bay’s Third Avenue Playhouse for one performance on Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 pm.

Often referred to as Door County’s version of the Von Trapps, the family members learned to sing and play instruments from their late father, Jack. Veteran Door County musician Julian Hagen is the most visible and public performer of the clan, but he is happiest when sharing the stage with members of his gifted family – sisters, nieces and nephews – and his many musical friends. A fifth generation Washington Islander, Julian has penned a number of songs and recorded music with both family members and fellow musicians.

This summer concert has become an annual event at TAP, and much as the family’s December concert ushers in the holiday season, the August songfest signals that the final days of summer are approaching.

Tickets for the show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children under 12.
